Spencer and I are approaching the end of foster to adopt training. We have classes this Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We also have an all day training next Saturday as well. The classes are really making college hard for both of us, but we are almost done.
When we are through with trainings there will be a period of time where we have to finish all the paperwork. We have floor plans, questionnaires, emergency exit strategies, and tons of other things to fill out. After all the paperwork has been processed and approved we have background checks and then THE HOME STUDY (dun-dun-dun).
We also have the lovely task of childproofing our house to CPS standards including locks on the toilets, all medication including neosporin double locked, and a myriad of other rules that will dramatically change our at home lives.
We thank everyone for the well wished and prayers. There are times we are not sure what we are getting ourselves into, but as many have reminded me He will not give us anything we can't handle.
