Updates
Last time on the Expanded Wilson's, we were just trying to make it to Adoption day and so the posts have been few and far between - here is what you missed; vacation, Izzy turned 3, Halloween, camping, Ethan is 2 and finally Adoption Day -
National Adoption Day
Our adoption of Isabella and Ethan was finalized on November 21st on National Adoption Day. It was a wonderful day, Izzy and Ethan of course did not understand what it meant, but Izzy loved it! Of course she got to see some of her favorite people who came with us to the court house to celebrate with us.
Thanks so much for all of the support and prayers given over the last six months. God has blessed us not only with our children but with family and friends who were willing to do anything to help all four of us adjust to the new life.
The journey is just beginning, but with the support we have, we know we can face anythign else that comes our way.

Ethan is 2
Due to all the events happening we had Ethan's party on the Friday before National Adoption Day, all the family was going to be in town anyway so it was perfect. It was western themed and so we were going to but tables outside, and let the kids sit on hay bales and things like that, but following tradition, we had to move inside. Again it was crowded, but nobody cared. Especially Emma and Izzy who found the wonderful sugar cookies Becky made and a doting Aunt Pam who let them have as many as they wanted.
Thanks Rob and Becky for helping so much!!!

Isabella is 3
For Izzy's third birthday, my sister was in charge - and it was FABULOUS - she had created an enchanted forest in our backyard, based on Izzy's favorite shirt. And then it rained, everything had to be moved inside, it was tight squeeze, but our friends and family of course did not care. Izzy was not really sure about the whole thing, she was a little overwhelmed with it all, this was the first time she had been the focus of an event, but I am sure this will pass with time.
THANKS AUNT PAM!!!

Smoky Mountains Vacation
In September we went on vacations with our good friends the O'Banion's and the Johnson's. It was quite a car trip, but the kids did great. It rained a lot, but we had a fabulous time in a beautiful cabin. You know you have to be great friends when you can survive a trip like that with 3 toddlers, a baby and a teenager and all want to go again.
